Next deadline upcoming for music export grants scheme
By Chris Cooke | Published on Tuesday 11 March 2014
The next deadline for the Music Export Growth Scheme funding programme from UK Trade & Investment and the BPI is upcoming, ie next Monday 17 Mar. As previously reported, the scheme was set up to support independent music companies seeking help to market their artists overseas, with grants from £5000 to £50,000 available.
BPI boss Geoff Taylor told CMU: “The response so far to the Music Export Growth Scheme has been hugely positive but we know that there are hundreds of talented acts and promising music projects across the UK whose export potential is going untapped. We know the creativity is there, the ambition is there and the expertise is there. I would urge small and mid-sized companies from England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales to check out how the fund can help to develop their business internationally today”.
More details about the scheme is available here.
