It’s all well and good all these popstars recording all this music, but how the hell do we get to hear it? Especially if we want to be drunk at the same time. It’s alright, the Official Charts Company has the answer*.

Over the next twelve months, Official Charts Company-branded jukeboxes will be appearing in 250 pubs and bars across the UK. On them you’ll be able to play all the tracks in the Official Singles Chart, as well as anything off any of the top ten albums that week.

The OCC has had a partnership with jukebox manufacturer Soundnet since 2006 to provide the Top 40 to its network of 12,500 machines, and this new brand partnership deal seemingly extends that alliance.

*I’m going to guess that the Official Charts Company would like me to tell you that it does not advocate drinking to excess. Actually, on the safe side, let’s just say the OCC doesn’t advocate drinking at all. Not alcohol. Not anything. Liquid is for losers. Don’t drink, kids.
