Other notable announcements and developments today…

• Now article thirteen of the European Copyright Directive even has its own website. article13.org has been launched by music community campaigning group Europe For Creators ahead of further talks around a final draft of the directive that are due to take place next week. It aims to counter all of YouTube’s recent article thirteen shouting, and explain why the safe harbour reform that the music industry wants won’t, in fact, kill the internet.

• Clickamix, the London-based start-up seeking to unlock new revenues for labels and publishers when music is used in cheerleading and other sporty things like figure skating and gymnastics, has rebranded as ClicknClear. It has also become the first ever ‘approved music vendor’ of the International Cheer Union, the global body for cheerleading.

• Loyle Carner is back with new track ‘You Don’t Know’, featuring Rebel Kleff and Kiko Bun.

• Fat White Family have released the video for new single ‘Feet’.

• Frank Carter And The Rattlesnakes have announced that they will release their third album, ‘End Of Suffering’, in May. New single, ‘Crowbar’, is out now.

• Du Blonde has released new single ‘Angel’. Her new album, ‘Lung Bread For Daddy’, is out on 22 Feb.

• SK Shlomo has released new single ‘Look Away’. His album, ‘Surrender’, is out on 29 Mar. There’ll be a special launch show, where he’ll perform with a full live band, at Omeara in London the same day.

• Rustin Man has released the video for ‘Judgement Train’, the second single from upcoming new album ‘Drift Code’.

• With Confidence have released the video for ‘Icarus’, from their album ‘Love And Loathing’.
