Perry sues over magazine’s affair allegations

Katy Perry is suing an Australian magazine which claimed she had an affair after marrying that Russell Brand geezer.
According to MTV, NW magazine claimed Perry had an “intimate relationship” with record producer Benny Blanco, who worked with the singer on ‘California Gurls’ and ‘Teenage Dream’. The mag headlined their piece ‘World Exclusive: Katy’s Other Man – Split Fears After Shock Revelation’.
Perry’s lawsuit is seeking six figure damages, claiming: “By reason of the publication of the article the plaintiff [Perry] has been gravely injured in her reputation and feelings [and] has suffered distress, embarrassment and humiliation”.
