Polyvinyl announces Japan benefit compilation

As the clear up operation in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan in March this year continues, US label Polyvinyl has announced the release of a new compilation to raise money for the Red Cross and its work in the country.

Entitled ‘Japan 3.11.11: A Benefit Album’, the album will feature 23 tracks, many of them rare or unreleased, from artists including Of Montreal, Deerhoof, St Vincent, Xiu Xiu, Efterklang and more. Available now from digital stores, it will be released on limited edition vinyl on 26 Sep.
