Psy to speak at Oxford University
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 5 November 2012
Psy has been booked as guest speaker at Oxford University’s Union Society this Wednesday. Startlingly, the K-Pop phenomenon is going to talk about ‘Gangnam Style’, and what it’s like to have almost five million YouTube ‘likes’. Pretty okay, I’d guess.
BBC News quoth Oxford scholar Finbar McLoughlin as saying this: “We’re expecting the chamber to be full to capacity to hear what Psy has to say. It’s great for our members to be able to welcome someone who has had a huge impact on life in such a short space of time”.
Also booked by the Union Society as representatives of all that is “topical and current” in popular culture are McFly (who’ll address the debating society today), Charlotte Church and PR personality Max Clifford.
And now, who wants to watch this again?
