‘Psy’ visits Cannes

The film industry is holding its big get together in Cannes at the moment, and one special guest, South Korean rapper Psy, has been spied frequently over the last few days, along with three security guards, hanging out with various celebrities at numerous parties. Well, why not?
What’s more, the celebs have been keen to document their meetings with the pop phenomenon of the moment. There he is with James Bond actress Naomie Harris, part of a group including star of ‘The Pianist’ Adrien Brody, and with basketball player Nicholas Batum. He sure does get around.
Only problem is, Psy claims to be in Singapore. And Cannes isn’t in Singapore. It’s not even close to Singapore. The commute would be exhausting. How has he managed it? Well, it seems, as you may already have guessed, the Psy in Cannes is an imposter.
Asking his manager to track down his doppelganger, Psy tweeted: “Seems like there’s another ME at Cannes… say Hi to him, @scooterbraun!”
He also posted another picture of the imposter with photographer Dylan Don, in which it’s particularly apparent that the faker doesn’t even look that much like Psy. Still, well done to him for getting away with it. Sadly, it seems that word has got around now and folks are now steering clear of him. Someone help this guy launch a pop career, I say.
