Pusha T solo for now, announces London show
By Aly Barchi | Published on Monday 20 January 2014
Whilst it looks like the possibility of a collaborative LP with his Clipse bro No Malice is only that, a possibility, a stolidly solo Pusha T is pushing off on a solo tour in honour of his solo studio intro, ‘My Name Is My Name’. Hitting Europe in May, it winds up in London, at Koko, on 6 Jun for a single, solo, UK stop.
T announced the other day that he’s working on his sophomore solo LP with long-time producers The Neptunes, discussing it (and the no-go Clipse reunion) during this solo chat with DJ Heat.
And this is what he said: “Since I’ve been back in there with them it’s been incredible. Pharrell right now is on another level. He’s on another level. With Chad it’s just like he’s coming through with the old Chad sonics and just the technical aspect of it. He’s just teaching us stuff like left and right. And it’s been good”.
