Rounding up the latest release news…

Virgin will continue its 40th birthday celebrations by reissuing three ‘defining’ Public Image Limited records. Beginning on 21 Oct with 1986’s ‘Album’, this as a picture-disc LP, the series will continue on 28 Oct with PiL’s 1983 single ‘This Is Not A Love Song’ b2b with an Eric ET Thorngren mix of ‘USLS1’, winding up on 4 Nov with a double A-side of 1986 track ‘Rise’ and ‘Warrior’.

Meanwhile, Johnny Lydon’s old buddy Snoop Dogg has made a mixtape with his two young sons Cordé and Cordell Broadus, aka Spandy Dangy and Dirty D (aka Channel 21). Hear the Family Dogg’s relatively (get it? ‘relatively’) cute ‘Royal Fam’ here:

Moving on, Chino Moreno and co of Crosses ††† have confirmed they’ll release their next EP on 12 Nov. Though without a title, it does have a teaser trailer that you can watch by clicking here.

And hey, what say we take a skim over three of the week’s internet LP streams, namely those by Nicholas Jaar, Glasser and Danny Brown.

Nico Jaar’s ‘Psychic’, a collaboration with guitarist Dave Harrington, is playing in the week leading to its release via his ‘serial label’, Other People. Alternatively, subscribers to said label can download it right now. Alt-pop approvee Glasser‘s new build ‘Interiors’, also released 7 Oct, is previewable c/o the Guardian; whilst toothy rap act Danny Brown‘s new offering ‘Old’, which features Purity Ring, A$AP Rocky, Charli XCX and ScHoolboy Q, is on Spotify in advance of its 8 Oct release date for some reason. Hear it here.

Finally, Katy B has taken lots of time making a ‘visual’ to go with her approved new single, ‘5am’, released 28 Oct, so it’s only fair that you go and watch it immediately:
