Rick Ross sued over unlicensed photo use

Rick Ross is being sued by photographer Armen Djerrahian over unlicensed use of a photographs he took of the rapper and artists signed to the rapper’s Maybach Music Group label.
According to TMZ, the photographs in question – in particular this one of Ross – were taken for an XXL magazine article, but have subsequently turned up on promotional materials and merchandising.
This is not the first time in recent weeks such a complaint has come to light. Last month, American rock band The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus came in for criticism over their response from a photographer to take a photo off their Facebook page after using it without permission.
Ross, meanwhile, is suing LMFAO for possibly appropriating some of his lyrics without permission.
