Roc Nation launches TV division
By Andy Malt | Published on Thursday 3 May 2018
Jay-Z’s Roc Nation business has announced the launch of a new TV division, building on the firm’s existing film and telly projects. It will be headed up by Patrick Reardon, who joins from the troubled Weinstein Company.
Taking the job title EVP Scripted And Unscripted Television (which could surely just be EVP Television?), Reardon will oversee the development of new projects, including a reportedly already in development unscripted series for Amazon.
“Roc Nation is such an influential and dynamic company”, says Reardon. “I’m THRILLED to have the opportunity to work with them as they expand their brand into television”.
Existing Roc Nation television projects include documentary series ‘Time: The Kalief Browder Story’ and the recently premiered ‘Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story’.
