Single Review: Royal Treatment Plan – Half As Much (The Light Music Network)

There’s not a huge amount to say about this single. It’s a bit naff, it’s a bit 90s. The five-piece pop-rock band thing has been done to death and it wasn’t even that good the first time. Royal Treatment Plan have a couple of guitars, a bass, keys and a drummer and even if you can’t already imagine what they sound like it won’t be much of a surprise when you hear them. ‘Half As Much’ could just be a bad choice of single so the B-side might be worth giving a go if you really have to waste another three and a half minutes.
