Sharon Van Etten details new LP, Are We There
By Aly Barchi | Published on Wednesday 26 February 2014
Following a brief behind-the-scenes trailer earlier this week, Sharon Van Etten has since detailed her new LP, ‘Are We There’, giving up its tracklisting and crucial 26 May release date.
Van Etten wrote and produced her first longform disc since 2012’s ‘Tramp’ with ‘kindred spirit’ Stewart Lerman in his New Jersey studio, writing through a series of “impossible decisions, anticipation and then, resolution”.
And while she hasn’t shared any new tracks yet, she has revealed new live listings for a set of dates featuring a single UK show at Koko in London on 5 Jun. So there is that. And this tracklisting:
Afraid of Nothing
Taking Chances
Your Love Is Killing Me
Our Love
Tarifa
I Love You But I’m Lost
You Know Me Well
Break Me
Nothing Will Change
I Know
Every Time The Sun Comes Up
