Skepta formally named Chief in Nigeria

Skepta has been made a chief in his parents’ home state of Ogun, Nigeria. The award followed a performance by the rapper in Lagos.
After being named Chief Entertainer of Odo Aje, Skepta posted on Instagram: “Thank you to the Baale, Chiefs of Odo Aje and King for presenting me with my Chieftaincy title today. I am honoured and will continue to put time and love into Nigeria, especially the community of Odo Aje”.
The rapper’s manager Grace Ladoja also posted an image of him with his chieftain credentials congratulating him on the accolade.
