Sony Music appoints Charlotte Edgeworth to diversity role

Sony Music UK has appointed Charlotte Edgeworth to the newly created role of Director of Diversity, Inclusion And Social Impact.

She will now work across the company to expand its activities to boost inclusion and equality. Previously, she worked with Sony as a strategic adviser on its Social Justice Fund, which was launched last year. She will continue to work on that fund in her new role.

“I’m delighted that Charlotte is joining the Sony Music UK as one of our newest leaders”, says CEO Jason Iley. “She has played a key role in helping establish our Social Justice Fund and activities. Her expertise will continue to drive us forward in our commitment to diversity, inclusion and social impact.
