Spotify to probably launch iPad app today

Might Spotify launch an iPad app at a press conference in New York later today?
I was certain this was going to be the “Daniel Ek is the antichrist hell bent on screwing every artist who ever sang a note” confirmation we’ve all been patiently waiting for (and that would explain why we’ve been receiving press releases about The Rapture lately), but everyone else seems certain it will be the long-time-coming iPad announcement. How boring. I’d have thought that before doing that it would make more sense to make the company’s existing mobile apps work properly.
The speculation has been fuelled by a photo of said app that has been doing the rounds. Though perhaps Ek will actually launch an exhibition of photos of fictional Spotify apps. Now that I could get excited about.
