Sufjan Stevens announces new album
By Andy Malt | Published on Tuesday 13 January 2015
Sufjan Stevens has announced that he will release a new album, ‘Carrie & Lowell’, on 30 Mar.
The follow-up to 2010’s ‘The Age Of The Adz’, which was inspired by outsider artist Royal Robertson, this latest album is named after Stevens’ mother and stepfather.
Here’s a mini-site for the album, and you can watch a trailer for the album here:
Elsewhere in Sufjan Stevens news, you’ll be able to catch his second collaboration with the Brooklyn Academy Of Music later this month. His musical accompaniment to slow-motion rodeo footage, ‘Round-Up’, will be played at the New York arts centre from 20-25 Jan.
