One time hip hop mogul Suge Knight has been charged with murder following last week’s hit and run incident that left one man dead.

As previously reported, Knight was seen driving his pick-up truck into two men after an altercation outside a burger bar in LA on Thursday. The incident occurred near a promo shoot for the NWA biopic ‘Straight Outta Compton’, and it’s thought an argument between the Death Row Records founder and the other men may have begun there.

Knight’s attorney insists that his client accidentally struck Terry Carter and Cle ‘Bone’ Sloane, killing the former, as he fled a violent attack that may or may not have involved the victims. But some eye-witnesses have said it looked like Knight deliberately drove his truck into the two men.

The LA County District Attorney’s Office confirmed yesterday that it intended to charge Knight with murder and other felonies in relation to the incident. An arraignment is scheduled at the Los Angeles County Superior Court later today.

Knight’s bail, previously set at $2.2 million, has been revoked because he is considered a flight risk.
