The Script cancel shows citing family illness
By Aly Barchi | Published on Friday 30 August 2013
The Script have, with great reluctance, had to cancel a live date they’d set at Leeds Academy yesterday, and one at the Blackpool Illuminations switch-on gig tonight (where that Gary Barlow has stepped in).
Apologising via Facebook for the late notice (and for inflicting Barlow on Blackpool, presumably), the band said it was “sudden serious family illness” that’d caused them to call off the shows.
