TI out of prison, filming reality show
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 1 September 2011
TI is out of prison, according to TMZ, and is already being filmed for a new TV show that will follow the rapper as he “re-adjusts to life as a free man after being incarcerated for nearly a year in a Federal prison in Arkansas”.
There were reports that the rap man would be released early at the start of the week, though his lawyer initially played down the claims saying no decision had been made. But it seems TI was moved to a less confined “half-way house” yesterday, and that filming of the new reality show was allowed to begin immediately.
TI, real name Clifford Harris Jr, was in prison after violating the terms of his probation relating to an earlier gun conviction.
