Ticketmaster UK chief promoted

Ticketmaster yesterday announced it had promoted Chris Edmonds, its UK MD, to a new globally focused role called EVP of International Strategic Partnerships. Though he will continue to have a strategic influence over the Live Nation-owned ticketing firm’s British operations as Chairman of Ticketmaster UK.
Confirming the appointment, Mark Yovich, President of Ticketmaster International, told CMU: “As we continue to expand our international business operations, Edmonds’s extensive knowledge and understanding of the ticketing and live event industries will be an invaluable addition to our International Executive team”.
While Edmonds added: “This is a time of great transformation and opportunity within the international ticketing industry, and I am looking forward to working with the international executive team to help to shape Ticketmaster’s future business strategy”.
