Ticketing service provider ticketscript yesterday announced the launch of its new products for 2014, notably a stepped up dashboard offering a stack of extra analytics and data for promoters, and the ticketscript box office, a device making it easier to sell last minute tickets onsite.

Dubbed the #sellmore reporting suite, the ticketing firm says its new dashboard has been developed in response to client feedback, and provides “more intelligent, dynamic reports”. Some of these extra services go live this week, while others will be added later this month, and include reports to enable promoters see where ticket-buyers are based, what devices they are using and what referred them to the ticketing purchase site. Users will also be able to integrate ticketscript data with their Google Analytics.

The box office device, says ticketscript, means “customers can buy tickets via card or cash, and receive a printed ticket on the spot or direct to their mobile, which is then scanned at the event entrance”. It’s been created specifically to allow promoters using the ticketscript platform to be able to sell tickets on the door at their events in a way that is fully integrated with their online ticket operations.

Commenting on the launches, ticketscript CEO Frans Jonker told CMU: “Our focus is on helping our clients maximise their sales and customer experience. There is no other ticketing service that can deliver this level of insight and enable their clients to gain such a deep understanding of their business. Clients can now truly measure the return on investment of their marketing campaigns, bringing a more professional edge to online, and even offline, marketing. What’s more, our service is free to event organisers. We are delighted and excited by the potential this new functionality has for the industry and for our clients to sell more”.

Meanwhile on the box office device, Jonker added: “We are incredibly excited about the opportunities ticketscript box office will unlock for event organisers. Once more we have disrupted the industry, there is now no need to invest significantly in ticketing hardware. Our app provides an on-the-door solution and a slick, simple service with no financial barriers to entry. It enables our customers from major conferences and festivals through to bespoke club nights to have the easiest and most user-friendly system”.
