U2 confirm U2our (or, tour)
By Aly Barchi | Published on Thursday 4 December 2014
Bono and his rock band You Two are going on a tour in 2015 to milk the ram-raid release of their ‘Songs Of Innocence’ LP.
The weirdly capitalised ‘iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE’ shows, which scale bits of North America and Europe, will hit the UK on 25 Oct 2015 for four nights at The O2 in London. Then on 6 Nov, move on for a short two-date stopover at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro.
Apparently, says frontman Bono ‘Bono’ Vox, the band are “going to try to have a completely different feeling from night one to night two. And have some fun playing with the idea of innocence and experience”.
“Have some fun playing with the idea of innocence and experience”? I don’t really know what that means. Maybe Bono will sing ‘Sweetest Thing’ while dressed as a giant baby. Who can say?
Tickets to watch the big bonny Bono baby bonanza will go on sale this coming Monday, so that’s another reason to dread this coming Monday.
