Vigsy’s Club Tip: Deviation Night + Day at The Prince Of Wales

The xx aren’t normally an act that would get a mention in this column – it’s not Vigsy’s Shuffling About Sadly Tip, after all – but the band have announced some pretty tasty after-parties for their seven night run at Brixton Academy next week.
Taking place at various nearby venues, the pick of the bunch for me is Thursday night at The Prince Of Wales, which will see Radio 1’s Benji B bring in his Deviation night. Eclectic DJ guru will headline with MC Judah. There’ll also be a DJ set from Sampha (who will be supporting The xx live the night before), Radi Dadi, Jagger and a secret special guest.
With a line up set to very much join the dots, expect a journey through all manner of beats, soul, RnB and an assortment of electronica.
