Vigsy’s Club Tip: Laurent Garnier and DJ Deep at Oval Space

I’ve been eyeing up this one up for a while. This Saturday, Oval Space in Hackney has two absolute legends, Laurent Garnier and DJ Deep, playing extended sets. And if you can hack it, there’s also an afterparty at the Pickle Factory next door, taking things through to Sunday lunchtime.
Garnier has been on the scene for 30 years now, first coming to the fore as a regular at the Hacienda. Since then he’s built a career as a big name DJ and producer the world over. Meanwhile, Garnier protégé DJ Deep is also one of the most influential figures in French house and techno. This will be great.
Once that’s finished at 6am, you can head over to the afterparty, where you’ll find Jane Fitz, Tom & Sohrab, Mike Stockell, Toby Nicholas and a secret special guest.
