All the acts will back installations inspired by Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller’s 1998 piece ‘The History Of The World’, a spider diagram likening acid house to traditional British brass band music.
Deller himself will be present on the night to oversee a redo of his 1997 work ‘Acid Brass’, a series of brass arrangements of house and techno songs. As well as all that, the free-entry event – which is happening at the Tate on 6 Dec – will feature a live AV set by Warp’s newest hireling Patten.
