Why data matters in music to be discussed at networking afternoon

“Data scientists, music start-ups and music experts” will all meet up for an afternoon of debating, networking and beer in Shoreditch on Monday at ‘Music Data Science Day!’

EMI is supporting the event and both David Boyle and Chris Carey from the major’s insights team will take part in the discussions, which will focus on the increased importance of data in the digital music era. Songkick’s Phil Cowan, Musicmetric’s Gregory Mead and’s Mark Levy will also be among those taking part.
