Wild Beasts detail ‘brash’ new LP

So, Wild Beasts are back with a lean and mean new single, titled ‘Wanderlust’. It’s meant to ease fans in to the idea of the band’s “dramatically new” LP, ‘Present Tense’, which follows 2011’s ‘Smother’, hitting shops on 24 Feb via Domino.
Remarking on the band’s “brash” new era, co-vocalist Tom Fleming told this to This Is Fake DIY last month: “I think, for want of a better phrase, we wanted to repel the beards a little bit. The slight dad-rock crowd; with touch points like Kate Bush, Talk Talk, it’s very easy to slip in to a facsimile of that. We’re very aware that this is 2013 and we can’t do that”.
Here’s ‘Wanderlust’, anyway. Dads-with-beards are free to leave.
