4Music relaunches website
By Chris Cooke | Published on Friday 10 January 2014
Channel 4’s music channel 4Music, run by the broadcaster’s joint venture with Bauer, is only planning to relaunch its website, which will not be just a website after the revamp, oh no, the all new 4Music.com is a “24/7 hangout for visitors to watch and share the best in today’s music and pop-culture news”. Which sounds tiring. Though it doesn’t launch until 27 Jan, so there’s plenty of time to get some naps in before it goes live.
Says 4Music MD Matt Rennie: “Our website is an important and growing part of our brand portfolio and with the relaunch the new 4Music.com looks and feels great. We wanted to create something that was informative, engaging and fun and our partners Tokyo Digital and Amido have done a brilliant job realising our web vision for 4Music. The new site combines loads of great editorial and video content with all the features that you’d expect. I know our audience is going to love it!”
The relaunch of 4Music.com later this month follows the unleashing of a new mobile app for sister channel The Box late last year.
