Jordan Adetunji

Following a run of self-released singles spanning rap, R&B and pop-punk in 2020 and 2021, Jordan Adetunji is gearing up for a big 2023. Now signed to Sony’s RCA, he’s getting the ball rolling with his first single of 2022, ‘Insecure (Love Yourself)’.

“‘Insecure’ is a song I wrote about learning to love yourself first before loving anyone else, it’s talk on self love and how once we love who we are and are comfortable, we can share that love with other people”, he says. “A straight raw reflection from where I was at in my life, especially the situation I was in”.

The lushly produced acoustic pop song shows off the versatility of Adetunji’s voice, accented by subtle musical flourishes. Time will tell if this is a sign of him settling on a sound, but either way it’ll be interesting to see where he goes next.
