CMU Approved
Approved: Team Me – F Is For Faker
By Andy Malt | Published on Tuesday 11 March 2014
A firm favourite at CMU ever since the day their debut EP turned up at the office back in 2011, Team Me returned with ‘F Is For Faker’, the first single from their second album, last month.
The first new material to be released since their 2012 EP, ‘Female Lead’, it adds a little more bite to their songwriting formula – though it still retains the careful balance of solid guitar pop and unrelenting tweeness that has always made Team Me such a joy to listen to.
Like the recently approved Deathcrush (a band who could not be accused of employing unrelenting tweeness), they filled out the Mono venue at the recent by:Larm festival in Oslo before I could get in. But if you’re at SXSW this week, tomorrow to be specific, you’ll be able to catch them at Lucille at 9pm.
