Approved: The Plastiscines
By Andy Malt | Published on Wednesday 18 November 2009
French pop-rockers The Plastiscines released their second album, ‘About Love’, in the US earlier this year through NYLON Records (the label set up by US style mag NYLON), with lead single ‘Barcelona’ picking them up fans including, slightly bizarrely, former Guns N Roses bassist Duff McKagan. In addition to that, the group will appear in two episodes of the next season of US teen drama ‘Gossip Girl’, which is due to begin airing later this month. This more than the McKagan connection will almost certainly mean they have a new legion of fans ready and waiting for them when the album hits the UK next year.
