Bisla launches global radio convention
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 9 September 2010
Sat Bisla, the man behind the MUSExpo music business conferences, is planning a new convention in LA on all things radio. He has teamed with Allaccess.com, the world’s largest community of radio professionals, to create the Worldwide Radio Sumit, which will take place in Los Angeles next April.
Says Sat: “As a member and advocate of the global radio and music community I felt it was essential to bring together a melting pot of positive creative and business inspiration in a forum that would be productive and meaningful to those who participate at the Worldwide Radio Summit. Having been a part of the radio family for the past 26 years and sharing new sounds with music fans around the globe – radio has played a vital role in sharing great talent with the masses”.
A stack of US radio names are already lined up to speak, as are Xfm’s music man Mike Walsh, Brendan Smyth and Mike McClung of New Zealand’s On-Air organisation, Andrew Phillips of the Australian Broadcasting Corp and Markus Kuehn and Mona Rübsamen, managing partners at MotorFM Germany.
