CMU Insights: Music marketing webinars kick off next week

The next round of CMU Insights webinars kicks off on Monday and this time the focus is music marketing. There are three webinars in total, running over the next three Monday evenings.

The first on Monday 9 Mar is The Music Marketing Toolkit: explaining the respective role of gigs, social, D2F channels, the music press, radio, TV, clubs, streaming service playlists, influencers and advertising in marketing artists, releases and shows. Plus, there’s a beginner’s guide to how artists and their business partners plan and implement marketing campaigns.

The second on Monday 16 Mar is Social Media Tools: a beginner’s guide to the role of social media and other digital tools in building, engaging and understanding core fanbase, plus an overview of all the key kinds of fan data and what to do with them.

The third on Monday 23 Mar is Music Media & PR: looking at the role of traditional and new music media – print, online, broadcast and streaming playlists – in building industry profile for new talent and getting music to a more mainstream audience. Plus the key elements of a successful music PR campaign.
