CMU:DIY: Industry Takeover Seminars

Don’t forget, the Industry Takeover Seminars programme from UD – co-presented by CMU:DIY – returns later this month. These are six sessions for early career artists, songwriters, producers, and music industry executives and entrepreneurs, taking place from April through to July at Talent House in East London.
The first session is called ‘The Music Industry: A Blueprint’, and will put the spotlight on all the different ways artists make money, and the companies they work with to build a business around their music.
CMU’s Chris Cooke will kick things off with a CMU:DIY guide, and will then be joined by a panel of experts offering insights and advice, including Alexandra Ampofo from Metropolis Music, Dan Owusu from Dream Life Records, manager Ella-Bonai Gordon and music lawyer Wale Kalejaiye.
