Faber to publish Ian Curtis notebooks

A book collating various “intensely personal writings” by the late Ian Curtis, titled ‘So This Is Permanence: Lyrics And Notebooks’, is to be released via Faber in spring 2014.
Edited by Jon Savage and with a foreword by Curtis’s widow Deborah, it will include unpublished pages from Curtis’s private (until now) diaries that will, apparently, “throw his lyrics into relief and cast light on the creative process of this influential and legendary songwriter”.
Hmm. Sticking with lyrics, this is Joy Division’s ‘Twenty Four Hours’, the song from which the line that is now the first half of this book’s title is lifted:
