Ice Cube to direct NWA film

Ice Cube is to direct a film all about NWA, which Dr Dre will reportedly produce.
I’m not sure if it’s a documentary or a biopic, though I sort of get the impression it’s the latter. Ice Cube is as much a film player as he his a music man these days, of course.
Confirming his plans to capture the story of his original music venture on film, he told AllHipHop.com: “I think [a movie is] the ultimate … tribute [to] the group and what the group meant to the world”.
