Mixmag to partner with Creamfields again

Organisers of Creamfields have announced that Mixmag will return as their media partners for their 2009 event, which means they ignored my advice to capitalise on their new Cheshire site and do a media deal with the never dull Cheshire Life magazine – coverage all those DJs and ravers next to the latest wedding and party photos from the Cheshire elite would have been brilliant.

Confirming the partnership, Mixmag’s Associate Publisher James Mowbray told reporters: “Everybody at Mixmag is very pleased and excited to be working with Creamfields once again. We’re looking forward to hosting an amazing arena and having a fantastic party at the event”.

Cream CEO, James Barton adds: “Creamfields celebrated its 10th anniversary this year and has developed into the world’s leading dance festival, so it seems only fitting we have the UK’s leading dance music bible back where they belong. With some exciting times ahead, we look forward to working with them and developing an even better festival for 2009”

Radio 1 will also return as the dance fest’s broadcast partner.
