Paul Simon might be about to move to Sony
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 2 June 2010
According to US gossip man Roger Friedman, Paul Simon is about to move his entire solo catalogue from Warner Music to Sony Music, so that it sits with the same label as the Simon & Garfunkel catalogue. Assuming that’s true, it will see Simon end a three decade relationship with Warner.
Friedman adds that the singer songwriter’s next solo album won’t be released by Warner either, though it’s not clear if Sony will automatically get the new material as part of their catalogue deal.
