Sony/ATV Music Publishing have renewed their worldwide publishing arrangement with songwriter, producer and former 4 Non Blonde Linda Perry, which, given she’s been behind countless hits for the likes of James Blunt, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Faith Hill, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion and Pink, seems like good news for Sony.

The renewed deal will also see Sony/ATV handle the administration of rights held by Perry’s latest business venture, Coldwater Music Publishing.

Sony/ATV top man Marty Bandier said this: “Linda Perry is truly one of the best songwriting and producing talents in the world today. As one of Sony/ATV’s premiere writers and producers, we are thrilled to extend our relationship with Linda and her publishing company for many years to come. Her incredible musical talent, as evidenced in her impressive track record of writing and producing hits, places her in a class by herself”.

Perry responded thus: “I am thrilled to be a part of the Sony/ATV family and look forward to a successful union. Marty Bandier, [Sony/ATV co-President] Jody Gerson and their team’s track record speaks for itself”.
