Rounding up the latest release news…

Snappy Leeds pack Eagulls are streaming their very first LP, the ingeniously-titled ‘Eagulls’, via Pitchfork’s vaguely annoying Advance player, in ‘advance’ of its real release in a week’s time. Player aside, the album is worth a spin (provided you’re into loud, angry punk), so do that now at this link.

Also with an album out soon, it’s approved lo-fi pop troopers La Luz, whose debut ‘It’s Alive’ will have its UK coming-out-party via Hardly Art on 31 Mar. Fall for its Mazzy Star-bright, 1960s-style girl-group charms right now c/o this video tape, for one of its tracks ‘Brainwash’:

Croydon artist Jamie Isaac (pictured), a contemporary of King Krule, has just handed over the official clip for his fine single ‘She Dried’, which is listed on his new ‘Blue Break’ EP. The latter is released on 24 Mar, a date Isaac will anticipate tomorrow via a show at the Waiting Room in London. Watch the vid here in the meantime:

And as if we weren’t all spoilt for streaming choice, tres hip French dance label Kitsuné is previewing its latest ‘New Faces’ compilation, as features tracks by fresh acts like Superfood, Kilo Kish, Rosie Lowe, Hyetal and George Fitzgerald, exclusively via Dazed & Confused. It’s in shops now, but if you’re too young and poor, or old and poor, you can groove and rejuvenate whilst you save up to buy it via the Dazed Digital stream:
