Richie Hawtin reignites Plus 8 label, releases new ‘Deadmau5’ track

Canadian DJ Richie Hawtin has reactivated his Plus 8 label to release a new track by Canadian DJ Joel Zimmerman, aka Deadmau5, who in this case we’re meant to call by his new alias: testpilot.
Titled ‘Sunspot (White Space Conflict)’, the single is Plus 8’s first in a while. And Richie says this re that: “It’s been nearly two years since the last Plus 8 record, but it seemed fitting that this record in particular, made by another skinny white kid from Canada, became part of the label’s collection and history”.
