Spotify now has over 2.5 million paying subscribers, which means it’s recruited over 900,000 new premium users since June, aided in no small part, of course, by the company’s long awaited arrival Stateside and that only slightly tedious love-in with Facebook. As previously reported, the streaming service is set to make a big announcement next Wednesday, though it’s thought that Mark Zuckerberg will deny getting Daniel Ek pregnant during a liaison backstage at the F8 conference back in September.
