Universal renews publishing deals with Welch, Weller and Steve

Universal Music Publishing has renewed its worldwide publishing deals with Florence Welch (of Machine fame), Steve Brooker (of Duffy’s ‘Mercy’ co-writing and producing fame), and Paul Weller (of silly hair fame).
All three artists said positive things about their new deals:
Welch: “Extremely happy”
Brooker: “Great”
Weller: “Happy”
Meanwhile, UMP’s President of Europe and UK Paul Connolly said equally positive things about the three of them:
Of Welch: “Incredible and highly original songwriter”
Of Brooker: “Outstanding songwriter”
Of Weller: “Distinguished and influential songwriter”
