Velvet Revolver jamming again
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 13 October 2010
Velvet Revolver are jamming again, it seems, though they are still sans-singer of course, having parted company with Scott Weiland in 2008.
The rest of the band stopped looking for a replacement frontman last year so Slash could concentrate on his solo album and Duff McKagan could spend some time in Jane’s Addiction, basically putting the whole venture on hiatus. But Slash has posted a message on his MySpace saying the band are now back working together and trying out new singers.
Writes the guitar man: “VR is back together jamming, trying out singers. No updates yet. But it’s great to hook up with Duff, Matt and Dave after all this time. I’ll keep you posted on any interesting developments from those sessions as they happen. The creative juices are definitely flowing. I’m positive something awesome is going to surface soon”.
