The people behind London's Club Fandango will next week stage six nights of fine new music at three different venues in the capital under the banner of 'A Fistful Of Fandango'. And hey, they've got long term CMU favourites Misty's Big Adventure on the bill, so I think that justifies me typing this line up in. Here goes...
4 Sep: Dublin Castle - Yo Sushi Album Launch, The Wall Birds, Lucy and the Catapillar.
5 Sep: 229 Venue (Gt Portland St): Maps, The Early Years, Fanfarlo, Monkey Swallows the Universe, Malcom Middleton, Fanfarlo, Royworld.
6 Sep: 229 Venue: Shit Disco, Operator Please, Friendly Fires, Fight Like Apes, So So Modern, Simple Kid.
7 Sep: 229 Venue: British Sea Power, Good Books, Pete & The Pirates, The Steers, Get Shakes, The Clik Clik.
8 Sep: 229 Venue: Electric Soft Parade, Misty's Big Adventure, Absentee, Eugene Mcguiness, Tim Ten Yen, Kissaway Trail.
9 Sep: A Fistful of Fandango wind down all-dayer at The Constitution.
Tickets for the Dublin Castle are a fiver and for the 229 Venue events a tenner. The Constitution date is free - hurrah. Press info from Get Involved.
