'Accidental suicide' rumoured verdict on Spector investigations

Rumours suggest police may record Lana Clarkson's death as an 'accidental suicide', with Phil Spector emailing friends in response.

Latest word on the police investigations into the death of Lana Clarkson at Phil Spector's house last month is that it was an "accidental suicide" – whatever that means. LA media are attributed the reports to a "source inside the LA Sheriff's Department". Following the rumours Spector is said to have emailed friends saying: "We hate to use the words, 'I told you so' but I did tell you so—after seven weeks of silence, we can say with certainty, this will speak for itself, and boy does it speak volumes."
