All Saints to turn on lights

All Saints will switch on the Oxford Street Christmas lights, alongside Andy Abrahams, G4 and Jamie Theakston, as part of the Light Up London fundraising campaign.

Oh, I want to turn on the lights. I mean, I know I'm not a celebrity, but I'd do it really well. Anyway, yet again, I've not been chosen, and this year it is recently reformed girl band All Saints who will switch on the Christmas lights on Oxford Street. They'll appear alongside faded-from-my-memory former X Factor contestants Andy Abrahams and G4, plus that Jamie Theakston, at the event, which also celebrates the 'Light Up London' campaign - in which people sponsor single bulbs from the lights in order to raise cash for Centrepoint and Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres.

All Saint Mel Blatt said: "I was so excited to find out we'd been chosen to do the Oxford Street Lights Switch On and we're also the first four people to sponsor a bulb for the Oxford Street Lights, as part of the Light Up London campaign".
