Amazon MP3s could be in the UK before Christmas

Amazon's download service, the one that launched in the US at the start of the year and was responsible for persuading all those dumb ass major label execs (at all but EMI) who were still clinging on to digital rights management systems that MP3 downloads were the future, could arrive here in the UK before Christmas. Digital Music News cite sources as saying the service could launch in the UK and elsewhere in Europe by quarter four of this year.
