Amy Winehouse in pub, not tired

Gossip reports say Amy Winehouse was photographed in a London pub on the night she cancelled her Liverpool gig, which her spokesman blamed on exhaustion.

As you'll know, because we reported on it, Amy Winehouse cancelled her appearance at Liverpool's Summer Pop series this week, and the gig has now been rescheduled for 18 Jul. The rumour was that the cancellation was due to the fact that she was in hospital, but as it turns out, she pulled out at the last minute due to "exhaustion", her spokesman saying "she's played non-stop for six months and is tired".

Anyway, now the gossips are saying it was all a lie, because it's claimed she was spotted that very same evening and photographed at The Hawley Arms in London, propping up the bar with hubby Blake Fielder-Civil. What the gossips seem not to be taking into account is the fact that it's a whole lot more exhausting to perform a gig in front of thousands of people than it is to sit in a bar downing pints with your husband. Though, if that story is true, it wasn't particularly sensible really. They should have just got some tins of beer and a take away and stayed at home.
